TrashCan Rodz Warranty Coverage

We don’t mass produce. We build individualized problems for fish!

What’s Covered

Warranty coverage begins on the date the rod is registered, not the purchase date.

Warranty coverage is transferable. The original claim code is required to transfer coverage to a new owner.

- **Workmanship Warranty1 Year**

Covers wrapping, epoxy, finish work, and craftsmanship.

- **Guide Train Warranty1 Year**

Covers precision-spaced and hand-aligned guides against defects in materials or early failure under normal fishing use.

- **Blank Warranty3 Years**

Covers structural defects in the rod blank itself.

- **Custom builds**

Many carry lifetime **blank** and/or **guide-train** coverage from the manufacturer (**defects only**). Your **Build Sheet** lists the exact terms.

What’s Not Covered

- **User error** –

If it broke because of how it was handled, not how it was built.

- **Truck doors & tailgates** –

Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Toyota… doesn’t matter, rods don’t win that fight.

- **Stepping or sitting on it** –

Under a boot, chair, or cooler, it’s done.

- **High-sticking** –

Jacking the rod straight up till it folds like a pretzel.

- **Hung up on rocks, docks, or timber** –

Yanking till it breaks isn’t a defect.

- **Accidental abuse** –

Car hoods, ceiling fans, kids, pets… you get the picture.

*If you treat it right, we’ll stand behind it — simple as that.*

- **Claim fee & shipping** –

Approved claims carry a $65 fee, and the customer covers all shipping costs (both directions).

-**Tournament Wins , Gifts, Shop/Dealer Comps**-

If your rod was received as a tournament win, gift, giveaway, or shop/dealer comp, it must still be properly registered to activate warranty coverage.

Warranty coverage is tied to your unique Claim Code issued at registration.

If a rod has not been registered, warranty coverage cannot be verified.

To proceed with your rod registration, please confirm you’ve read and agree to the Warranty Terms & Conditions below.
